Event Details

A workshop for those wishing to explore their ancestral history and develop a creative writing practice around it. We will delve into ‘who we are in relation to who we have been’ using embodied writing, journalling and our own archival research.

Participants are encouraged to bring along pieces from their ‘personal archives’ as prompts – family photos, heirlooms, or even a song from childhood to share with the group. This pleasure garden includes elements of spiritual practice and home cooked food from Leni’s culture in the hope of making a truly restful and warm place to be together in. (All are welcome to bring snacks or goodies from their own places in the world!)

This meeting is designed around rest, creative exploration and the luxury of sharing. Whether it’s a long lost wayward grandmother, full blown intergenerational trauma or just a dusty mysterious photo album from the back of the cupboard, it can be brought and explored here.

(Saturday) 13:30 - 16:00(GMT+00:00)
