Here are the main events being held around World AIDS Day in Brighton & Hove

The Argus will release articles on HIV to mark 40 years since the first diagnosis in Brighton & Hove. Interviews and contributions from many local stakeholders including MFF, THT Lunch Positive, Sussex Beacon. Date tbc.

Brighton LGBTIQ+ History Club will be meeting at Brighton Museum to explore, discuss, and remember local stories from HIV activists and historians. THT Positive Voices attending to speak. LGBTIQ_History_Club_WAD

AIDS Memorial Quilt Exhibition, Brighton Jubilee Library

Wednesday 30th November
THT Positive voices attending a talk with Gill Dean with Trust Grand Round for Medics part of Fast Track Cities work, Positive Voices speaker will be talking about stigma.

Screen saver across University Hospitals Sussex. “In relation to HIV stigma, how would you like to be treated as a person living with HIV when you attend the hospital” – 4 PLWH responses. Key messages on HIV stigma and PLWH stories are going across all/most UHS platforms. (The media team are distributing them to include, intranet banners, newsletters, theme of week and more.)
